Matchups Set for Round of 16 & DII Quarterfinals

And then there were 16…


After three weeks of competition, the field is set for the Knockout Stage in both the Premier Division and the Second Division.


The action kicks off on Sunday, March 12 at 9:00 p.m. ET, with a Round of 16 match-up between 2020 & 2022 eCup runner-up Providence City FC, led by U.S. national futsal team goalkeeper Chris Moura, and Milwaukee Pro Soccer, led by ‘22 Xbox National Champion Oscar Ayala.


The Premier Division’s Round of 16 continues through Tuesday, March 14, before giving way to the Challenge Cup and DII Quarterfinals to be held later in the week.

CHALLENGE CUP


The preliminary pairings and schedule for the Challenge Cup, a Europa-league style competition that will pair entrants of a similar group stage performance together in a competitive, evenly-matched environment is currently being finalized in coordination with the participating players & clubs. All 18 entrants that failed to qualify for the knockout stage have been invited to participate in the Challenge Cup.


The eCup expects to release a finalized bracket & pairings to the public early next week, with action to begin later in the week.
